Board of Nursing

Texas nurses are regulated by the Texas Board of Nursing. The Texas Nursing Practice Act gives the board broad authorities to issue nursing licenses and impose disciplinary measures, and the Texas board makes active use of its powers. In a time when nurses are being given increasing responsibility and independence, the board’s reach will likely only increase.

Board of Nursing

We represent nurses who are having licensing issues, are charged with violating standards of care or exceeding their authority, or have been accused of other violations. While nurses are highly trained on relevant medical knowledge, they often lack the legal knowledge needed to effectively resolve a board complaint. We close this gap by providing experienced representation in investigations, hearings, and appeals. In addition to administrative matters, we also defend civil lawsuits and criminal charges.

Our offices are in Bee Cave, conveniently located just outside of downtown Austin and in close proximity to the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH). We proudly serve clients from all across the State of Texas and are also licensed to practice in Louisiana and California. If you’re a nurse looking for experienced representation before your state’s Board of Nursing, contact us to schedule a consultation.
